Good Bye
Today my grandfather passed away. I am glad to have had the chance to say goodbye last week to the only grandfather I have ever known. My grandparents will be missed greatly. Who knew after they spent 64 years in marriage together they would both pass away within two weeks of each other. I just pray my family still living takes a close look at the loved ones around them, pulls them close, and whispers "I love you" in their ear.

Scott, I'm thankful that you are part of our family, and that Amy gets to spend the rest of her life with you. Thank you for opening your house to my family this past week. I will be praying for you and your family. Don't be afraid to lean on those close to you during this time, and know that you are loved.
