Today my grandfather passed away. I am glad to have had the chance to say goodbye last week to the only grandfather I have ever known. My grandparents will be missed greatly. Who knew after they spent 64 years in marriage together they would both pass away within two weeks of each other. I just pray my family still living takes a close look at the loved ones around them, pulls them close, and whispers "I love you" in their ear.

Well, I can keep my job! I was worried that with my new school schedule I would not be able to keep my job. I also requested 32 hours instead of 40 which was gutsy but yesterday my boss said I did such a good job around there they wanted to keep me and work around my schedule. There, I have given something on turkey day that I am thankful for. Of course there is much much more.

So this past Monday my dad called and said my grandpa was not doing well and could only have a few days to a few weeks left. So needless to say I was making plans to go down tomorrow (Thursday) and stay for a few days and visit my grandparents. Well on Tuesday my dad left a message to call him. It didnt sound good and I figured something happened to my grandpa. Well, when I called my dad he asked if I talked with my brother yet. I said no. He then said, "Well, moms dead." My grandma had passed away late Monday night from heart problems. Talk about unexpected. So I am heading down still tomorrow morning for the viewing and funeral. The crappy part is I may being going back in the days/weeks to come for my grandpa too. They spent around 64 years together which is awesome. It is a sad time.

Due to the overwhelming response on my last post about posting more often, I decided after just a couple days I would write another post. Now I know this may come as a surprise to all but if you would, please contain yourselves just a bit. There could be a big let down after this post in that I wait many moons before posting again.

Dont you hate those blogs where someone who has not posted in forever creates a new post and titles it "been a while". Yeah, me too. Anyway, today was my first day at Kettering College of Medical Arts or KCMA. I had Chemistry/Lab today. Friday will be a couple other classes. Then next week my nurses aid class starts as well. Im so glad to finally be back in school and moving on. Other than that I work. That is it. Boring life here. See yall next year.

So the start of a new season of American Idol has started in these past couple weeks. You may hate the show or you may love it. Some have great voices on that show and some have the worse voices ever. But you know, out of say 10,000 at each city that tries out only about 20 or so make it to the next round. That is just a sample of this whole world. Most of us cannot sing or cannot sing that well. The show proves just that! But American Idol is not what my topic is about. You ever think about what it will be like when all of creation stands before our great Maker? Not only will we all bow a knee but we will all confess Him and His Lordship. And as saints, we will sing before His Majesty. Think of those that will sing, most on earth will not have had great voices. Very few will have great ones. But the same God made us all. Good voices, and bad voices, will come together to praise our God. In fact I was just listening to Remember Me, by Mark Shultz online. During the song, which was sung live, he was singing then stopped and let the audience continue the song. It sounded absolutely great! You ever think about that. When a large group come together and sing as one it sounds awesome! Why is that? There is just something about that. One giant choir. God never ceases to amaze me. Thank you Lord!

Ok, so Amy showed me a website for a game on the wii. Well the game is awesome and I really want it but what caught my attention was the soundtrack that went with it. Hayley Westenra is the person who sings the songs. Talk about awesome! She reminds me of Celtic Women who I really like. What I am curious about is why those songs just capture my attention. It is like they bring me into another place. They are great reflective songs for me that cause me to slow down and think about life and God in it. Ok, Im done writing and time to listen to the songs.
